TWO WOMAN POLICE OFFICERS FOUGHT IN TUMPUNA SOUTH ROAD… ONE CHARGED
Around 10:53 pm on Sunday 14th August 2022, Constables DAVIS and (WP) WATTLEY responded to a call from the Command Centre about 2 females fighting on Tumpuna Road South. Upon arrival they noticed that WPC LEWIS attached to the SHPU: Debe was in the custody of Police Officers attached to the La Horquetta Police Station for allégedly acting in a Disorderly manner. Also on location was WPC KELLY (NHPU:Cumuto) with whom (it was alleged) WPC Lewis had the altercation. After numerous attempts to bring calm to the situation WPC Lewis was eventually arrested
and taken into custody by the La Horquetta Police. She is to charged for the Offences of - Obscene Language; Resisting Arrest; Assaulting 2 Police Officers as they effected the arrest and Disorderly Behaviour.
