A29-year-old man is hospitalized following a shooting in Enterprise.
The incident took place at about 10.30 pm on Friday along Gopaul Avenue.
The victim was said to be driving his AD Wagan along the roadway when he was shot at by unknown assailants.
He immediately exited the car and took cover, however, he had been shot several times.
Residents of the area took the injured man to the Chaguanas District Health Facility where he was treated before being transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope. Up to this morning, the injured man remained warded in a serious condition.
A team of officers from the Central Division Task Force (North), led by Sgt John, responded, and recovered several spent shells on the scene.
