Morvant Man Crashes Into Drain After Being Shot

Police are investigating a shooting that took place along Pelican Extension Road, Morvant at 10pm on Friday.

The victim told officers he was driving along the roadway when another vehicle pulled alongside him.

He heard explosions and felt a burning sensation across parts of his body.

The man attempted to drive away. However, he crashed into a nearby drain. The suspects then fled the scene.

Police were notified and the injured man was rushed to the Port of Spain General Hospital.
