Snatcher Arrested after Chase with City Police
A 29-year old man of Production Avenue, Sealots, Port of Spain was arrested yesterday following a brazen daylight snatching in the Capital City.
The female victim reported that around 3:50pm she entered City Gate (PTSC) at the Broadway entrance when a man snatched her Samsung cellular phone and gold chain and ran towards the direction of the lighthouse.
She alerted PC Smith of the POS City Police who was driving a marked police vehicle. He immediately gave chase and apprehended the suspect a short distance away along the Beetham Highway.
